Sal Peabody
Psychotherapist
(He/His/Him)
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through safe and authentic connection. I strive to create a space where you can show up as you are, whether youโre feeling stuck, uncertain, emotionally exhausted, or simply wanting a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we can explore patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with your resilience and inner clarity.
Before becoming a clinical social worker, I spent years working in nature, gardening, landscape design, and community-based education focused on regenerative systems and resilience. That experience still shapes how I understand growth and healing: both require time, care, support, and the right conditions to thrive. Time in nature can also foster resilience, connection, self-compassion, and grace.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, somatic and trauma-informed practices, mindfulness, and ecopsychology. I also believe that healing is not just intellectual โ it is emotional, relational, and embodied. My work is guided by curiosity, compassion, and respect for your lived experience.
