As an Experiential Psychotherapist specializing in Existential Phenomenological Psychotherapy, I hold a master’s in Clinical Mental Health with a focus on Spiritual Care and Pastoral Counseling. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Integral Psychology, with the goal of heightening my understanding of the intersection between our unique ecology, biology, and spirituality. My practice centers on addressing the fractures caused by trauma, capitalism, and materialism—forces that separate us from each other and the natural world. These fractures have led to an emotional and spiritual famine, manifesting as widespread anxiety, violence, addiction, and chronic loneliness.
Western culture’s narrative has shifted toward division and difference, leaving many of us seeking meaning and acceptance in materialism and virtual connections, which only perpetuate our disconnection. To counter this, I believe in the healing power of nature, community, and reframing our human stories. Through Experiential Narrative Therapy, wilderness engagement, and healing rituals, we can reconnect to our roots, find common values, and foster a strong and deep sense of belonging.
As a young girl, I came across Isak Dinesen’s words, “Here I am, where I ought to be.” This simple, yet profound statement has guided my own journey through emotional states of deep yearning for a world in which I felt safe and whole. Through years of integrating my own education, ecology, biology, and spirituality, I have come to discover a benevolent and healing realm within myself and outside in nature. My continued mission is to remind us of the grounded space within, the Divine’s plan and purpose behind all our learning,
