The Process
Involves a series of steps, starting with a phone call, consultation, verification of benefits, intake, and finally, engaging with your therapist.
Initial Call
Upon contacting Hilltown Behavioral Health, the initial interaction aims to clarify the practice’s services and the process leading to engagement with a therapist. Upon reaching out, the client is greeted by a team member who initiates a dialogue to ascertain the client’s objectives and aspirations. This dialogue may also result in a referral for a consultation with a specific therapist within the practice.
Consultation
Following the initial call, the client is introduced to a practitioner or practitioners for a consultation. The consult is essential for the client to make an informed decision about their therapeutic journey. If both the client and therapist agree to proceed, the practice will provide pre-intake paperwork, which includes consent forms, policy guidelines, verification of benefits and other relevant documents.
Intake
Upon completion of the necessary paperwork and benefit verification, an intake appointment is scheduled. This preparation ensures the client is well-informed and ready for the assessment process, fostering a sense of readiness and aligning with the practice’s commitment to transparency. If there are any barriers impacting the client’s ability to complete the paperwork online, the intake person will assist the client in completing the paperwork during the intake.
Following the intake session, the client is prepared to begin their therapeutic engagement with their therapist.
