Tracy is currently attending CIIS working toward a Ph.D in Philosophy within Transformative Studies. Exploring how developing intimacy with nature allows a person to return to their roots. My area of interest will be undertaking research on the injury done to indigenous people while illuminating the pathways to decolonize practices and approaches of care.

Tracy McManmon
MSW, LICSW, RMT, Psychotherapist and Founder (He/His Him)
Tracy approaches the collaboration from a place of deep gratitude and humility. Together we cultivate a climate that honors you & your journey. Just as in growing a garden where cultivating a rich bed of soil establishes strong roots so too is tending to the soul. There is so much abundance in the natural world. We will explore the relationship with nature and through this intimacy we undergo a clearing where our own true nature emerges. The more we understand our own true nature we begin to acclimate to our own inner design.
Tracy has also developed Partial and Intensive Outpatient Programs for individuals inflicted with addiction. Tracy’s practice setting is surrounded by open space, pastures, woods, and sanctuary animals. Tracy is relationally focused and uses insight, intuition, dream work, and photography as ways to illuminate the path. Tracy is also a certified reiki master teacher. Our history, all of those experiences & initiations throughout one’s life culminating all impacting the soul.
Echo Anxiety & Echo Grief are how many of us are responding to climate change and disconnection from each other and the soil beneath our feet.

Alix Nelson
LMHC Psychotherapist (She/Her/Hers)
I have spent the last 20 years focusing on helping adults become more comfortable within themselves. I work with my clients to develop balance through compassionate exploration of what has created difficulties for them. My focus is helping the client find the resources within themselves to manage the discomfort created by emotional dysregulation. I specialize in addiction/alcoholism, trauma, as well as depression and anxiety through using compassionate inquiry, mindfulness, and polyvagal theory. Offering a natural setting where we can walk in the woods and fields with the companionship of a dog, cat or horse. I believe the most effective modality of healing is found in a supportive connection of loving kindness and understanding. I draw from my many years of sitting with people and holding a safe space for them to share their life experiences fully, in order for them to discover current day peace within and not be held prisoner to their past experiences. I am also trained in EMDR.

Anastasia Papaconstantinou
Psychotherapist / Practice Partner (She/Her/Hers)
Over the past 30 years of having worked as a Psychotherapist with individuals who have dealt with adversity, loss, uprooting, and who have known suffering, I have come to witness human resilience. It is a humbling experience to accompany the work that individuals and groups engage in, when navigating obstacles that require adaptation and change, when preparing for transitions, and when tending to situations or contingencies that require action and shifts of perspective. Whether addressing what happened and how we understand a given situation; or, whether con-figuring a response and a resolution to a current difficulty, the whole person is involved as well as their history, culture, and the potential they bring to each session and to the work
The founder, Tracy McManmon, and colleagues who are part of the practice foster an awareness of the requirement for connection in response to fragmentation and alienation from our own nature and from one another. I have joined this collaborative practice intentionally. Supporting the work of learning again to connect with self, with others and with our environment, my commitment is to facilitate such a process. Through such and other examples, I see that the work of Psychotherapy requires an embodied collaborative engagement in the present moment, paying attention to what is being said as well as what is left un-said.
I have worked with individuals (and groups/communities) who are navigating their Life path dealing with the effects of depression and anxiety. I have worked with individuals encountering a crossroad, coming to discover their sense of identity, some navigating deep waters occasioned by substance addiction. Many look to understand the meaning behind the symptoms they experience. Many, too, seek to make sense of and to find purpose in their lives, a sense of well-being and self-realization. I bring to this endeavor a Depth Psychological perspective, informed by an Existential-Phenomenological frame of reference. My studies both navigate and integrate the lived intersection twixt Philosophy and Psychology, and the Liberal Arts and human condition at large, which recognizes that human experience is an embodied experience, a perspective enhanced by my clinical training in Bioenergetic Analysis.

Aaron Brandes
LCSW, M.ED, IASI Psychotherapist (He/His/Him)
I began my healing work in 2012 as a bodywork practitioner and since that time have been invested in the connection between the physical and emotional aspects of health. We are seeing a promising surge in evidence-based research that demonstrates how this balance is crucial to our overall health. Treating the whole person, both mind and body are essential to my healing approach. My therapeutic practice is informed by my experience in Clinical Social Work, my training in Structural Integration Bodywork, and my career in movement/dance.
I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. In my sessions a safe space is created with emotional support to help uncover patterns that may not be supporting your optimal well-being. My therapy sessions are tailored to the needs of each client and involve a combination verbal processing, sensory motor and nervous-system regulation, and embodied modalities that support integration. Through various relaxation, self-soothing, and co-regulation techniques we take the time needed to slow down and unwind tension. As the body experiences a deepened level of calm and relief, there can be insight into new perspectives that supports forward movement in one’s life path.
I feel honored to join people in their journeys of self-discovery and healing.

Rebecca Dewitt
MSW, LCSW Psychotherapist (She/Her/Hers)
I am passionate about supporting people in getting in touch with their innate wisdom and returning to wholeness. My work is rooted in the belief that there is nothing wrong with us. We just need support in finding what works and what doesn’t work and integrating the myriad parts of ourselves. I work within a relational framework and value collaboration every step of the way. It is also my commitment to create a safe space where the complexity of identity and experience is honored and affirmed.
I received my Masters in clinical social work at Smith College School for Social work in 2018 and worked in a community mental health setting in Springfield for two years following. There I had the privilege of working with a team of clinicians specializing in quality care for LGBTQIA++ clients, and worked with kids and adults doing art therapy, group therapy, crisis management, family therapy, and trauma recovery. I worked with trans and gender nonconforming teens and children and supported caregivers navigating their childs’ gender transition/exploration. In 2021, I went on to work in a residential rehab with adults in early recovery from substance use running a variety of recovery themed groups.
I believe that the body holds our stories and also knows the way forward. In my work I incorporate the therapeutic modalities and frameworks of somatics, psychodynamic theory, attachment repair, social justice, relational practice, art therapy, Internal Family Systems, and strengths-based practice. I have also trained in a variety of energy healing modalities including Reiki, Spiritual Constellations and Spiritual Healing, and subtle energy awareness practices. My meditation and mindfulness background has shown me that everything we need in order to heal is within us.
It takes courage to reach out for help. Whatever challenges you are facing, be they questions related to the past, present, or future, we will work together to create a plan that works with your strengths and needs.

Jean Schreier
Marriage and Family Therapist (She/Her/Hers)
I am a therapist who is a healer, an agent of change, and a fellow traveler on this journey we call life. Over 20 years ago I gave up a successful career as an attorney in NYC because, having survived cancer, I wanted to do something more meaningful.. For me, being a therapist is not just a career, it is a “calling”.
In my life, I have been influenced by a wide variety of people I have known and experiences I have had. Among these were:
Attending the 1963 March on Washington (where Martin Luther King delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech) and, a few months later. meeting him in person when I was doing voter registration with migrant workers, who were housed in chicken coops on Long Island Potato farms;Working on the Womens’ Rights Law Project at ACLU with Ruth Bader Ginsburg, while in law school; Working as an attorney with Bella Abzug, who served in the House of Representatives from 1970-1976, was one of the first supporters of Gay Rights and Equal Credit Opportunity for all. as well as playing key role in the impeachment of President Nixon; Being a Civil Rights and Peace Activist engaged in non-violent actions throughout my life, doing hospice work with many gay men who were suffering and dying from AIDs in the 1980s, and helping to establish the Gay Men’s Health Crisis Center in NYC; Attending ALANON and open AA meetings for many years; Becoming friends with a group of homeless people in NYC, listening to their stories, and sharing meals with them; Being the Program Director of two homes for people suffering from schizophrenia, who had spent most of their lives locked up in state-run mental hospitals; and Establishing a Family Therapy Program at a Residential Substance Abuse Program for homeless, substance-abusing, women and their children in NYC.
As a therapist, I have a particular interest and expertise in working with Transgender and LGBQ Clients, as well as Clients living with complex PTSD and DID, Major Depressive Disorder, Substance Abuse and other Addiction Disorders. Since my degree and training are in Family Therapy, I also have extensive experience working with relationship/couples issues and dysregulated families. I offer individual, couples and family therapy.
Being a therapist is a privilege. I do not take a Client’s trust for granted. In working with you I will be respectful, caring, and supportive of who you are, how you are, and how you would like to be in relationship with me, with yourself, and with others. I will co-create a safe space with you in which for you to do this work and to explore the issues that have brought you into therapy at this time. I will listen attentively and empathically to you, as you share your life experiences with me.
Therapy is a collaborative process and together we will take a journey. We will walk down the paths you have taken in your life, at times stopping to look at particular places or moments that have shaped you or that have created problems or stressors in your life. Sometimes, I may encourage you to walk down a path you didn’t realize was there or that you avoided because you feared the unknown or lacked curiosity in people, places, and things that were unfamiliar to you. These explorations, should you choose to take them, will help you to deal more effectively with your anxiety, gain more confidence in yourself, and realize things about yourself that you may never have known. We will take these detours if, and only if, you trust me and are willing to make this a part of your journey to a healthier you.
On this journey together, I will use Trauma-informed Person-Centered Therapy as well as evidence-based practices that will best fit your needs and enable you to develop effective coping skills. Among these will be: Mindfulness, Solution-focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Family Systems Therapy, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and other Trauma and Addiction informed therapies. In addition, I will use my own intuition and life experiences to walk with you on your path.
Life has taught me that the only certainty is change. It has been my experience that people often feel stuck in unhealthy relationships or in occupations or places that they do not want to be, simply because they don’t realize that they can make a new choice or start a new day any time.
I have always found that I learn as much from my clients as I hope they learn from working with me. We are, after all, just people, each finding our way through life in the best way we know how, using our past experiences, and the knowledge and skills we develop during our journeys, to expand our ability to lead lives that are meaningful to us. Our lives are shaped by the people we have known, the love we have received (or not), the pain, joy, successes and failures that we have experienced and the challenges that we have met or overcome.
Today, we are living in unprecedented times, of personal and global crises. It is easy for any of us, no matter how strong we are, to become overwhelmed with feelings of anxiety, depression, sadness or hopelessness, as we struggle to deal with the ramifications of these crises in our own lives. In therapy, we will not only address your immediate personal concerns, but we will also find ways to effectively cope with the feelings that arise in response to these existential issues that affect us all.

It can be difficult to strip away the influences imposed upon us from an early age. We may struggle to find our true course, or feel stuck living according to external pressures; recognizing every so often, a discord between the head and the heart. I believe that every person is entitled to live an authentic and fulfilling life. The first step is to cultivate a deeper presence where we can feel the various forces moving through us. What clarity might present itself under such conditions?
My background in mindfulness practice permeates my approach with compassion, curiosity, and an open mind to support you in making contact with your own inner guidance. My approach is one of asking questions, with curiosity & openness; creating a space that is free of judgment, growth-oriented, and rich with insight. I specialize in navigating complex relationships by supporting clients to recognize and take ownership over their needs and desires— the very roots of our life force.
I offer concrete and accessible ways of restoring connection wherever it is lost, whether with oneself, with your environment, or with another. The work offers a blend of somatic exercises to deepen self-connection, a toolbox of skills for communication that supports harmony, healing, and aliveness in relationships, role-plays to practice new ways of relating to self and with others, rituals that allow for deepening to place, Source and self, and ‘life principles’ that create mental+emotional expanse, abundance, and more ease in stepping into the Great Flow of your life.

Kyla Ferguson
MSW, LICSW Psychotherapist (She / Her/ Hers)
I believe we are on the brink of a new kind of psychotherapy: one that includes not only mental and emotional healing, but includes physical, spiritual, and energetic layers and is truly holistic. A deeper level of healing is possible. These difficult times are ushering us into a greater intimacy with pain and awakening our capacity to heal.
In my own healing, the most important thing has been recognizing the ways I have disconnected from myself and from my body, and reconnecting through somatic practices. I have found that often talking is not enough, and at a certain point the body needs to be included in the healing process. By working directly with the nervous system, we can reorganize our patterning so that healing occurs spontaneously. This process is more about rest and release than working hard. Rest is the undercurrent that all that I do. I believe that it is a radical act to allow our nervous systems to deeply unwind. This is where true healing occurs.
I have 15 years of yoga teaching experience, and 13 years of experience working with kids, adults and families needing psycho-emotional support. My approach is guided by your own body and nervous system’s wisdom and innate capacity to heal. The tools that I use include traditional psychotherapeutic tools and I may also use Trauma Release Exercises®, Reiki, Yoga, Mindfulness, and movement/dance. I am primarily guided by polyvagal theory, interpersonal neurobiology, trauma theory, relational theory.
We are social beings, and we both hurt and heal through relationship. I see myself as a guide and a friend to walk alongside you on your journey back home to yourself. I view my role as a therapist as to create a container in which you learn to feel safe enough to hold all parts of yourself. I am honored and excited to be doing this work.

I am endlessly fascinated with people’s stories and the lifeways and cultural threads that weave through them. I am highly intuitive and seek to empower the people I serve through a wholistic lens that honors where we are at while helping to strive for our most immense potentials. I believe deeply that we flourish most through a sense of belonging and that community integration and systemic perspective can break down the barriers that divide us from one another and cause pain and loneliness in our society. I am a multicultural Latina artist and community organizer at heart and believe the creative voice is essential to healing our world. I am integrally committed to uplifting my Bipoc and underheard people in particular and fostering lasting social change in my actions and work for the betterment of a fragmented society.

Gwendolyn Roit
MA, NCC Mental Health Counselor
(She / Her/ Hers)
I came to this field knowing that I wanted to have more intentionality in my life’s work and how I used my energies. Having spent the prior decades engaged in farming, a passion for connection with the land and elements is an integral piece of my therapeutic practice. I am a strong believer of using that powerful interrelation for personal and collective growth and healing. In 2022, I presented at an international conference on the topic of ‘Healing from Spiritual Abuse through Connection with the Natural World’ bringing together two threads of particular significance in what I hope to offer.
With a theoretical foundation built on client-centered therapy, I believe in our innate capacity for self actualization and it is my honor and privilege to witness and walk alongside an individual on their unique path toward wholeness. The body/mind/spirit connection is a cornerstone of how I approach this work whether we are addressing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, grief, substance misuse, or recovering from the grip of a coercive group or relationship.
My clinical work includes experience with mindfulness practices and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, both at an IOP serving those in early recovery from substance misuse, and at the community mental health agency where I have gratefully served as an outpatient therapist for the past several years. I am currently deepening my understanding and education in the realms of Internal Family Systems, KAP integration, and Motivational Interviewing.
Using evidence based practices and a curious and gentle presence, I strive above all to create safety within the therapeutic process, using the goals of those I share this space with to inform how each session will proceed. I look forward to collaborating and to finding the most meaningful approach for the work you have come to do.

James Epps
Mental Health Counselor
(He/His/Him)
Originally from Florida, I came to Massachusetts in 2013. I lived at and worked for a holistic wellness center before deciding to go back to school for mental health counseling. I worked as a counselor at a substance abuse treatment center while earning my degree. Here, I supported clients using Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and experiential outdoor education. I am passionately drawn toward nature and experiential practices. Also, my background in yoga training allows me to stay grounded both in my body and with the land.
As part of my internship, I worked with young children in transitional assistance for the Massachusetts PALLS program. I’m a mixed-race Black, QTBIPOC therapist and I specialize in helping folks from the BIPOC and LGBTQAIP2S+ communities process and heal through trauma. I’ve worked with folks struggling with family dynamics, impulsivity, anxiety, depression, anger, suicidality, substance abuse, and a host of other things that grow from living in a world largely beyond our control.
I know about running from ghosts and building walls. I know about hiding in friends and hiding from them as well. I also know how comforting numbness can be and how dangerous that is. People tend to seek therapy from a mix of curiosity, desperation and hope a few of the most potent human ingredients. If this sounds familiar to you, then I’d love to see how we may work together.
